Naturalization Ceremony

A Historic Day in a Historic Place

Join us for a truly special event as we welcome new citizens to the United States during a Naturalization Ceremony held at the historic Portal Schoolhouse.

On Constitution Day, September 17th, the very walls that once echoed with the lessons of young pioneer students will now witness the next chapter of the American story — the moment individuals from around the world officially become U.S. citizens.

Set in the heart of downtown Papillion, this meaningful ceremony reminds us that the values of freedom, community, and opportunity continue to live on — not only in our history, but in our future.

This event is open to the public. Join us in honoring our newest citizens and celebrating what it truly means to be American — together.
